Terms of Service & Booking Policies

By booking a session, attending a class or event, or purchasing a service through Serenity Oasis ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before completing your booking.
Services Offered
Serenity Oasis offers Reiki sessions, sound healing, community classes, private events, and Reiki certification trainings, available in-person in Los Angeles and online. Services are provided by Alison Lopez, a certified Reiki Master and Sound Bath Practitioner.
Not a Substitute for Medical Care
Reiki, sound healing, and all wellness services offered by Serenity Oasis are intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, and general well-being. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health condition, please consult a qualified healthcare provider. By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are not relying on these services in place of professional medical care.
Booking & Payment
All sessions must be booked in advance through our website or by direct arrangement. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payment through the methods listed on our booking page. Prices are subject to change at any time; changes will not affect confirmed bookings already paid in full.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your scheduled session are eligible for a full refund or a one-time reschedule at no charge.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session are non-refundable. You may reschedule once, subject to availability, if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.
No-shows are non-refundable and are not eligible for rescheduling.
Serenity Oasis reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no charge.
Community Classes & Events
Donation-based classes are offered as-is. Donations are not refundable once submitted. Paid events (sound baths, circles, workshops) follow the same cancellation policy as individual sessions unless otherwise stated in the event listing.
Reiki Certification Trainings & Retreats
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot in any Reiki certification training or immersive retreat. The remaining balance is due by the date specified at the time of enrollment. Deposits may be applied toward a future training date if cancellation is made at least 30 days in advance. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the training start date forfeit the full amount paid.
Liability Waiver
By booking with Serenity Oasis, you agree to participate voluntarily and assume full responsibility for your experience. You release Serenity Oasis and Alison Lopez from any liability for injury, loss, or adverse outcomes arising from participation in any session, class, event, or training. While we take every precaution to create a safe and supportive environment, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and recordings provided by Serenity Oasis — including guided meditations, training materials, and course content — are the intellectual property of Serenity Oasis. They may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without explicit written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from your use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
